El Asesino del Sol III

from Etna by Un Festín Sagital

/
  • Limited edition cassette
    Cassette + Digital Album

Tape from the mighty Un Festin Sagital, out of Santiago, Chile. Here, things get a lot more jammed out and long-form. Not as weird as the last tape, and not as sophisticated as the first, these are some heavy, spacey tracks that situate UFS in more Acid Mother's territory than the RIO Prog they've been brandishing. That being said, there is still plenty of flute to make everyone happy. Sparse vocals and a Latin flavored groove. J-cards are silver offset on green metallic stock, with the cover being a William Blake painting. Also comes with a mini-poster with art from the talented Jesse Peper, who has done the art on the previous two tapes. Edition of 100 copies on smokey black tapes with silver labels. (James Livingston)
